“DEEKSHARAMBH”

Report

Induction plays a vital role in shaping student perceptions of what college offers and college commitment to deliver high quality provision. Induction program is organised to make students aware of the support and services available to them so that they smoothly enter a partnership with the college to shape their learning program and gain maximum from the college life.

The Purpose of Induction is primarily to:

• To helps students to adjust and feel comfortable in the new environment.
• To inculcate in them the ethos and culture of the institution, helped them build bond with other students and faculty members and expose them to a sense of larger purpose and self-exploration.
• The student Induction Program intended to empower the aspirant learners to face the competitive world with confidence.
• To make student acquaint about the available internal and external sources (curricular, co- curricular and extra -curricular) for all round and holistic development.

Orientation Program “DEEKSHARMBH” was organized by the Department of Education of St. Vincent Pallotti College, on 17/10/2023.

The orientation program was chaired by the Director of the college Rev. Fr. Amit Tirkey,                 Principal Dr. Kuldeep Dubey, Vice Principal Dr. G. Padma Gouri , HOD of various Department and all the staff members of Education Department.  

The session commenced with lamp lighting followed by prayer song and folk dance by the students. HOD Department of Education Dr. R.Gayatri Iyengar   Oriented about the objectives, curriculum structure for the teacher trainees of batch 2023 and the phase by phase milestones that the institution has achieved and that which will continue to reach. Director Rev. Fr. Amit Tirkey address to the students to pursue their dreams and use the enormous facilities available in the college. Principal Dr. Kuldeep Dubey also oriented the vision, mission, origin and growth of the institution.

A power point presentation was prepared to depict the activities conducted for the teacher trainees by the Department of Education. Vote of thanks was given by B.Ed semester III student. The program enabled to create a bond between student-teacher, faculty members and college community. After Orientation, various entertainment cultural activities were organized to add colours to the event.
